If anyone didnt know the G8 summit has been taking place. The G8 summit is basically a confrence held by the worlds 8 wealthiest nation: France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Russia; in which they discusses the most pertinent issues of the time. This summit held in Toyako, Japan wasfocused on the topic of cutting down green house gas emission. In what i feel to be a very tenacious goal, the G8 plans to implement plans in their perspective countries in order to cut global gas emission by 50% by the year 2050. Also there were signs change at the summit as many speculated on adding the countries: Brazil, China, India, Mexico, and South Africa. As these countries have rising economies and large population it only seems logical to add them as they will have numerous roles in the G8's global plans. Especially the idea of consulting with China; as the densely populated country is one of the worlds top green house producers. ~R.Esquire
